I established this company at a crossroads time in my professional career in education. A key factor in my decision was the Doctoral research I had commenced at the start of 2006. I could not reconcile the demands of Principalship or Senior Management work with the rigours of research. At the same time, I was motivated by my frustration with 'PD' that rarely had regard for the real needs of schools. I therefore wanted to be able to offer high quality services, primarily at the management and governance end that was tuned into the needs of individual schools. Hence the tag line, "Mockingbird Sings your Song".
