Highly organised.

Every member was aware of the process.

The process was thorough and transparent.

It was easy to see from the beginning of the process what type/kind of person was to fill the principal's role.

The appointments process was very clear, robust and fair. I felt very comfortable about the whole process and was pleased that we appointed an external advisor to manage the process.

A:I found it really useful to be able to question and debate ideas - it is the only this debate that will allow people to feel part of the process

A: Explanation of the key competencies. I understand them well now!!!

On the subject of curriculum essence statements:
I really like how the KC are broken into sections and then the big ideas and context can be included. Makes it very easy to follow.

A: I enjoyed the whole day - stretched my thinking! Excellent presenter/excellent presentation.

A: ...I particularly liked the way you as the facilitator drew our ideas together in summary.

Day well spent - I feel more informed about my role...on the BOT. Great opportunity to discuss & clarify certain issues.

Real life examples of dilemmas helpful...

A great, informative session that really opens one's eyes to the importance of having a BOT in place and the huge responsibilities that go with it.
